Joe RUINED Blue's Clues, Just Like Jamie Lynn Spears RUINED All That
In a previous post I clarified that Steve Burns, AKA Steve from Blue's Clues is ALIVE & WELL. As most of you 90's kids know, on the show Steve went to "college" and his "cousin" Joe took over the show. EPIC FAIL, right?!
In real life, Steve Burns went on to a pursue a "music career" & well I haven't heard his music, but I think it's safe to say it probably isn't as cool as he was on the show!
After JOE took over the show didn't last another 6 years, and didn't continue to be hugely popular like it was when Steve was on & ultimately came to it's demise. However, we can't place all the blame on poor old Joe, because Steve did leave on his own terms. I imagine it'd be a tough to fill the shoes of someone so well received & liked.
Even though your sister was literally the coolest person on the planet in the 90's, that doesn't necessarily mean your meant to be a star too...Jamie Lynn!
Jamie Lynn Spears only got hired for "All That" because of who her sister is, because it DEFINITELY wasn't for those acting chops of hers!She came onto the "All That" scene in the 8th season, when the show was basically a watered down version of what it use to be. If Nickelodeon thought she would breath life into the show, they definitely thought wrong!
FOR WHATEVER REASON, she was able to land her own show after All That wrapped, called "HOEY 101" whoops I mean "ZOEY 101"
Which made shows like iCarly seem like some kind of artistic masterpiece.
Proving that you can take the girl out of the trailer park, but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl, Jamie Lynn got knocked up at the age of 16! Ultimately ending Hoey 101 & Jamie Lynn's acting career for good!

Nickelodeon Confirms Rocko was Originally Golden Yellow?!?!

Earlier today on the official 90's are all that facebook, Nickelodeon posted on their wall that our beloved Aussie wallaby trying to make it in the modern world was originally gonna be golden yellow!

I'm glad they ditched the golden yellow concept, and made him the way we all know & love him!

Subliminal Messages in Our 90's Cartoons: Rugrats, PRO FEMINIST FAMILIES?!?!
Rugrats is pro feminist families...HERE IS THE PROOF:
- Mrs. Pickles is the educated breadwinner, Stu often chasing his less profitable dreams
- Phil & Lil’s mom Betty DeVille, obvs (short hair, female symbol sweatshirt, clear second waver, OBVIOUS LESBIAN)
- Charlotte, ballbusting CEO who wants Angelica to have an edge in a male-privileged world
- Suzie’s family, upper-middle class black family with a really accomplished mom
- Chaz, sensitive single dad who childrears and has rejected traditional masculinity
Pretty obvious, right? Although, there is NOTHING wrong with women running the household! Whatever works best for the family, in my opinion ;) I just found this rather interesting! I wonder if it was done intentionally! Hmm :)

Sticky Stickly & Moose a. Moose SAME VOICE?!?!
Yes, you read correctly! Stick Stickly & Moose a. Moose are actually voiced by the same person! You can kinda tell just by listening to both of them closely! Looks like this guy has been working with Nickelodeon for quite some time!

Basically I LOVE me some All That, but I STILL get SCARED by some the characters played on the show! (insert ROFLMAO here.)
I'm writing this post in hopes that I'm not the only one! ahaha.
Whenever Katrina plays MR. PEROT, I almost always forget she's in character or a woman! IT ALMOST SCARES ME!
I don't know it's the southern accent or that honker of a nose, or if she's just a really good actress, but these skits always give me the chills!
EAR BOY & Pizza Face
Just the other day, I was in a Halloween shop & I saw these GIANT EARS & I immediately was like "WHY WOULD ANYONE MAKE THESE, OR WEAR THEM EWW?!"
My friend replied, "MAYBE FOR AN ELF COSTUME?"
Which in hindsight makes sense, but either way I just don't like the way it looks for some reason. Maybe I'm just a weirdo ahaha
I don't like Pizza Face for the obvious reasons!! ahaha
(I'll never be able to look at pizza the same again.) ;)

90's Kids Rejoice! Nickelodeon Announces UPick is Coming Back!
I'm not gonna lie 90's kids...after Nick ditched Clarissa & Doug I found myself a little hesitate to tune in. Not that I don't love me some Rocko & Hey Arnold...I just thought that they could of added those shows instead of removing others to make room for them. HOWEVER, today Nickelodeon announced that UPick hosted by the man, the myth, the legend...STICK STICKLY!
Breathing life into a block I was slowly losing interest in!

Starting October 7th, US 90'S KIDS WILL BE ABLE TO PICK OUR FAVORITE SHOWS TO AIR!!!
That's right, you heard correctly! We'll be able to vote for what we'd like to see!!!
It's not known now what shows we'll be able to vote for, but in the promo they do show shows I know A LOT of you have been wanting to see again! EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT they'll air all the winners, making it pretty hard NOT to wanna stay home on a Friday night & tune in, right?!

Your eyes are NOT deceiving you, this is Arnold's grandpa Phil & what appears to be a penis. Hilarious now, creepy then? Or vice versa?! YOU BE JUDGE.
However, I'm definitely not gonna be able to look at him the same for now on! ahaha.
On the bright side, as long as we don't have to look at the picture bellow of Helga I think we'll be all good! ahaha

While it's been under debate for quite sometime in the underground 90's nostalgia community for sometime, it's just now starting to be asked more regularly now that Kenan & Kel is back on the air. WHAT YOU ASK?!?!

Well...all signs point to the obvious...YES!
Our favorite orange soda loving homie was the 90's modern day ORPHAN ANNIE!
Ever wonder WHY WE NEVER SEE HIS PARENTS ON THE SHOW, or WHY HIS MAIL GETS DELIVERED TO THEIR HOUSE, or WHY HIS ASS NEVER WANTS TO GO HOME EVEN WHEN KENAN'S DAD'S EYES ARE BULGING OUT OF HIS EYE SOCKETS?!
It would certainly explain Kel's enormous gap in between his teeth, right?! The poor kid was suffering from malnutrition!

Yes, it's a VERY sad week for Doug lovers :( Bufflington's head honcho in charge (hear that ROGER!) will be disappearing from our TV sets on SEPTEMBER 5 to "make room" for other shows. For whatever reason I don't know, but we must make the best out of any bad situation & enjoy our final week of Doug! 
This week I will be featuring as many stories as possible featuring Funnie & the gang so be on the look out for those!
Hopefully this isn't a goodbye entirely & they'll realize what a mistake they've made and re-add DOUG to the line up!
OR MAYBE they'll create an all 90's Nickelodeon channel!

Like most of us I was ecstatic once hearing the news that Rocko's Modern Life & Hey Arnold was gonna be added to the line up! That happiness didn't last long...
WHY?! Is it that hard for Nickelodeon to get this whole 90's block right?!
Most of us 90's diehards could do wonders for the network (if they ACTUALLY listened.)
NOPE! Starting September 5, Nickelodeon (the network run by apes) will be getting rid of Clarrisa Explains it All & DOUG to "make room" for Rocko & Arnold.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!
They couldn't "make room" by not showing the RE-RUNS of the first 2 HOURS of the block?!?!
Or do they think we don't notice that?!?!
UGH!!! B I G MISTAKE!
Another epic fail on behalf of Nickelodeon. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE me some Rocko & Arnold, but I equally love my Clarissa & Doug!!! It would of made all of us a million times happier if they just simply added it to the block, instead of adding/removing. It doesn't make sense to me AT ALL. It's WHATEVER tho, cause ultimately they have the say. I can't help but feel robbed though!
