NEW Powerpuff Girl EPISODES !!!

Apparent leaked image of the new revamped Powerpuff Girls. Buttercup visually more feisty than ever!
3 BAD BITCHES ARE BACK!!!
All is well in the world now that we have the soon to be return of Towns-ville's 3 baddest bitches: Blossom, Bubbles, & Buttercup!

A staple in 90's nostalgia culture, for the generation that was made of sugar & spice, the announce brings excitement to the 90's kids who loved the hit Cartoon Network show, which embraced feminism & the running theme of GIRL POWER which occurred throughout the 90's and early 2000's.
However, this time our beloved trio won't just be taking on the villians of Towns-ville, but the entire world! (let's get those damn North Koreans already hahaha JK)AND....THE ORIGINAL VOICES WILL BE RETURNING! So at least they're not messing up with the original formula, the only new added addition we know of so far is the music of Ringo Starr...

Hopefully this won't be like the revamped version of Beavis & Butthead that only lasted 1 season after losing it's steam eventually viewer wise. Here is the official statement from Cartoon Network:
The Powerpuff Girls Special: "Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice...plus a dash of mysterious Chemical X" were the essential ingredients that created Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup-also known as The Powerpuff Girls. This groundbreaking and Emmy®-winning series, created by Craig McCracken, ran on Cartoon Network from 1998-2005 and will soar again as a brand-new, redesigned and re-imagined CG special coming in 2013 where the trio of pint-sized super heroines will be called upon to rescue not just the city of Townsville, but the USA and the world! Featuring an original song "I Wish I Was A Powerpuff Girl" performed by Beatles legend Ringo Starr, who also portrays Townsville's most famous flamboyant mathematician, "Fibonacci Sequins," this all-new original special comes from a powerhouse creative team featuring animation talent from around the globe including acclaimed director Dave Smith and award-winning art director Kevin Dart and is produced by Cartoon Network Studios in association with UK's Passion Pictures. The special also features the original voice cast reprising their iconic roles and will premiere later this year.

Separated at Birth

The 90's Comeback in Full Force! Beavis & Butthead to Return!

America's sweethearts, Beavis & Butthead are set to make a comeback to MTV very soon!

Beliebve it or not (<-- see what I did there HAHA I am a genius) our beloved Justin Bieber actually broke the story via Twitter awhile back!

A big part of what made Beavis & Butthead so special for us in the 90's was the music video segments! These days I sometimes feel like my friends & I are Beavis & Butthead whenever we have commentary on videos! ahaha It is known now that in the new version the boys will comment on not only current music videos, but youtube clips, Jersey Shore clips, etc.
I'm guessing it'll be like Beavis & Butthead's version of "Tosh 2.0" haha or at least something to that degree

The creator Mike Judge will be showing footage of the new episodes at tomorrow's Comic-Con in San Diego! Check back here tomorrow for the footage!

90's Babe of the Day: Becky Conner's Man Mark Healy

The 90's babe of the day is dedicated to Glenn Quinn or better known in the 90's as Becky Conner's main squeeze Mark Healy on the cult hit "Roseanne."

He played the bad boy greaser that Roseanne didn't want her daughter to be taken over, but with a face like that who could blame her! Mr. Conner hired Mark to work at their bike shop, but eventually they eloped behind her parents back, and at one point moved into a trailer home (insert ROFLMAO here ;P) ahahaha

The couple then moved into Becky's parents come where they remained for the rest of the series.

The Conner girls apparently liked to keep in the family cause Becky's sister ended up marrying & having a baby with Mark's little bro, David Healy. hahaha.

Oddly enough, Glenn played an American on TV. He was actually Irish and had a heavy accent!

After the show wrapped he played a half-demon in the show "Angel."

Photographs really don't do the man justice! If you were a fan of the show you know what I'm talking about! He was definitely yummy :)

SAD FACT: Glenn died of a heroin overdose in 2002 :( His body was found on the couch of a friend he was visiting in North Hollywood, California.

RIP MARK HEALY

90's Throwback Vid of the Day: Weezer Edition

Weezer - Undone -- The Sweater Song (1994)

Weezer - Say It Ain't So (1995)

Weezer - Buddy Holly (1994)

Then & Now: Baywatch Edition

Before we knew them as the sex symbols we do today, Pamela Anderson & Carmen Electra were just starting to create a buzz for themselves in the 90's with the show, Baywatch.

With a doubt, Pamela Anderson is still a femme fatale! One thing I will say about Canada is that they create GORGEOUS women! She's a model, actress, playmate, and is a very active animal rights activist.

She invented the celebrity sex tape scandal in the nineties with her infamous honey moon sex tape with then husband, Tommy Lee of Motley Crue fame.

This wouldn't be her only sex tape to appear in the nineties. She also appeared in a explicit video with Poison front man, Bret Michael's.

In the new millennium Anderson married rocker Kid Rock, but they also ended up in divorce.

Say what you want about the vixen, but she's definitely going down in pop culture history as one bad ass chick!

Dubbed "Carmen Electra" by then boyfriend Prince in the nineties. She was his protégé at the time whom he was also dating. In 1993 she released her self titled debut album to lukewarm reviews thus ending her music career.

She then appeared in a spread for Playboy in 1996 that lead to her being casted for MTV's "Singled Out", as well as Baywatch.

She apparently has a thing for girly men because she then married basketball player Dennis Rodman in Vegas of '98, but then got divorced the following year.

Throughout the new millennium she's appeared in various movies, and got married for the 2nd time to rock musician Dave Navarro. Unfortunately, the marriage did not last either.

However, that didn't stop Electra from getting engaged to Rob Patterson of the metal band Otep in 2008.
Just like her fellow Baywatch cast-mate, Ms. Electra will always be known for her certified bombshell status more than her acting accomplishments, BUTT...

You can't knock the girl because this pussycat has remained relevant and is still beyond gorgeous!
